Aikikai of SwitzerlandAssociation Culturelle Suisse d`aikidoA.C.S.A.A.C.S.A. is an association founded in 1969 of Aikido-Dojos (association, clubs schools) representing common national and international interests and promoting Aikido for the public sports population. Objectives:Promote Aikido and make it publicly known, as founder O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba has defined it. Create an optimal environment through organisation and administration with an honorary yet professional engagement. Provide recognition and support of the members through cooperation andregistration in national and international organisations. Services:a. provided by the members of the board:Employment and cooperative work with the technical director (Shihan M. lkeda, 7th Dan Aikido), administration, communication, public relation, secretarial-, financial-, translation-services, planning and representation of the Aikido association in public. b. provided by the technical commission:Organise instructions for all of the Aikikai association's clubs and schools, organise national and international training events, registrate Kyu and Dan grades, cooperate with Hombu-Dojo, define technical regulations and observe grading system, for further development of the experienced members organise respektive events. Organisation of A.C.S.A.A.C.S.A. is an association with statutes and internal regulations. The board consists of president, vice-president, treasurer, general secretary and technical secretary, closely cooperating with the technical commission. The assembly is held on an yearly basis. At present there are 40 Dojos with approximately 1200 members represented in the association, in our country of 7 million inhabitants. On the technical side the association is led by the Shidoshakai (Fukushidoin, Shidoin and shihans of the association). Twice a year a special learning event is being organised for this particular group, which includes approximately 150 people. Members of the Shidoshakai may, depending on their rank, lead examinations and grade from 6th Kyu up to 4th Dan. (2nd Dan up to 3rd Kyu, 3rd Dan up to 1 st Kyu, 4th DAn up to 2nd Dan, 5th up to 3rd Dan Dan, 6th DAN up to 4.th DAN). Last update: 06. Mai 2007 |
